Meet Sustainable Development Foundation

Vittoria Elena Papa 

Vittoria Elena Papa holds a Master’s Degree in Environmental Law (LUISS Guido Carli University, Rome), with a thesis on National and International Environmental Impact Assessment. As PM for the Natural Capital, Green Infrastructure and Agriculture Department, and Organization manager for the Green City Network, she follows the implementation and communication aspects of both department projects.

Giuseppe Dodaro

Giuseppe Dodaro holds a Master’s degree in Natural Sciences (University of Naples, Italy). An expert in the planning and management of natural resources, he mainly deals with applied ecology to support territorial planning processes, projects related to the identification and evaluation of ecosystem services, local development initiatives and the development of models for the evaluation of the effectiveness of sustainability policies in the urban environment and in areas of high environmental value. As the Head of Natural Capital, Green Infrastructure and Agriculture Department at Fondazione per lo Sviluppo Sostenibile, he is in charge of activities aimed at improving the ecological quality of the territories, at the enhancement of natural capital by companies and at the diffusion of production models with low environmental impact in the agri-food chain.

Andrea Barbabella

Head of both the Energy and Climate and Reporting and the Green Strategies and Eco-innovation Departments, Andrea Barbabella is in charge of green strategies, LCA methodologies and the assessment of the effects of actions on environmental components.

Delia Milioni

Delia Milioni has a degree in Business Communication (La Sapienza, Roma) with a Masters degree in Public, Social and Political Communication (IULM, Milan). As Coordinator of Communication and Events of the Foundation, she manages the planning and creation of integrated communication (traditional and digital) and the planning and creation of events. She is also in charge of External Relations in different projects.

Chiara Montanini

Chiara obtained a Master's degree in Environmental and Resource Economics at the University of Kiel, in Germany, where she followed a specialization course on climate and energy issues, both in the technical-economic field and in the field of European and international policies. She has been working at the Foundation since 2018, carrying out analyses of climate and energy data. This has been in the fields of sectoral, national and international emission paths, the elaboration of emission scenarios and the development of decarbonisation roadmaps for public and private organizations. She also conducts studies and research, follows the evolution of the regulatory framework at the national and European level and supports the elaboration of specific policy proposals. She has been the Project Manager of Italy for Climate - the Foundation's initiative on climate and energy issues - since 2019.

Davide Grossi

Davide Grossi has a degree in Industrial Design (ISIA Roma Design). As part of the Communication and Events Team at the Sustainable Development Foundation, he design graphics and web sites. He is also the Social Media Manager of the Foundation.

Sofia Asperti

Sofia studied Statistical Sciences at the Sapienza University of Rome, with a course focused on socio-demographic aspects. Later, she graduated in Statistical and Methodological Sciences at the Alma Mater of Bologna, during which time she was a visiting student at the University of Cambridge. During university she completed some brief work experience in the Forestry sector of the FAO (Food and Agriculture Organization) and in Save the Children. Upon finishing her studies, she did an internship in a consulting firm specializing in data analysis. At the Foundation, she deals with the analysis of transport and energy data in the area of ​​sustainable mobility. She follows various projects for the UIC (International Union of Railways) and contributes to the activities of the National Observatory on sharing mobility, in particular the analysis work aimed at drafting the National Report on sharing mobility.

Luca Refrigeri

Luca has a degree in Environmental Economics and Urban Development. He has been working at the Foundation for Sustainable Development since 2013. He has been studying and dedicating himself to the world of environmental sustainability and the green economy for fifteen years. In particular, he is passionate about sustainable mobility, new technologies and all those solutions capable of improving the urban space in which people live and move. Over the years of collaboration with the Foundation, he has had the opportunity to work on projects aimed at reducing emissions in the transport sector, measuring energy performance and targets, developing mobility scenarios, electrification of transport modes, innovation of transport services and shared mobility. Eco-Driving instructor.

Claudia Matini

Claudia is an Educational psychologist and CTA (Certified Transactional Analyst), interested in teacher education, active teaching methods, school climate, inclusion and stress management. She is an experienced facilitator and team-building expert.
