Meet DECO

Fernanda Santos Paredes

Fernanda is responsible for consumer education and training strategy at DECO, for the DECO Coordination of Consumer Education Programme - DECOJovem; for the DECO Coordination of Training Programme for professionals and consumers; and for the DECO Coordination of Projects and Innovation Office, specifically PSLifestyle project coordination. She is responsible for informative/awareness campaining to consumers (digital literacy; financial education; energy efficiency; responsible use of water; food safety, responsible food Marketing; food waste; sustainability as well as for the representation of consumers rights in several forums (sustainability, digital literacy, financial literacy; consumer education).

Mária Pombo

Mária works as a Project Manager at DECO – Portuguese Consumer Association, being the Project Manager of PSLifestyle. Before joining the DECO team, she worked as a Project Manager at the Portuguese Association for Business Ethics and at the United Nations Global Compact Network Portugal, leading several projects and campaigns around sustainability issues, such as Climate Change, the Sustainable Development Goals, Education for Sustainable Development and Ethics. She also worked as a Journalist at Portal VER – Valores, Ética e Responsabilidade, a portuguese online portal that gave her the chance to study, research and write articles about subjects such as Social Responsibility, Ethics, Human Rights, Sustainability, Management, among others.
