Meet ICLEI Europe

Jennifer Cote

Jennifer is an Officer for Communications and Events at ICLEI Europe. She is the Communications lead for the PSLifestyle project. Additionally she leads Communications in the Act!onHeat project and the European Urban Resilience Forum, as well as Social Media and Community Engagement in the CAMPAIGNers project. Jennifer holds a BA in Politics and International Relations from the University of Greenwich in London (UK) as well as a Master of Public Policy from the Hertie School in Berlin (Germany). She has previously worked for the United Nations System Staff College in Bonn (Germany), Wiley publishing company (Germany), and West Suffolk Council (UK). She is a native English speaker and she also speaks German.

Sophie Callahan

Sophie is an Officer (Integrated Management, Governance & Social Innovation) at ICLEI Europe. She supports the Communications team for the PSLifestyle project, and (co-)leads city and citizen engagement for the CAMPAIGNers, NetZeroCities, and ENLIGHTENme EU projects. Sophie has an M.Sc. in Environmental Governance from the Albert-Ludwigs Universität (Freiburg, Germany) and holds a BA in Environmental Studies and History from the University of Wisconsin (Madison, US). She has previously worked for the Global Landscapes Forum in Bonn (Germany), Bioversity International in Rome (Italy), and the Sierra Club (US). She speaks English and German.
