Exciting news! PSL web app officially launched in Slovenia

On Wednesday, June 7th, 2023, the alpha version of the PSL web application officially arrived in Slovenia, aiming to help citizens embrace a more sustainable lifestyle.

The launch took place during the ISPIM international conference, held at Cankarjev Dom in Ljubljana, bringing together diverse stakeholders, including representatives from Circular Change, the Municipality of Ljubljana, project ambassadors, and listeners from around the world.

The event kicked off with an opening address by Deputy Mayor of Ljubljana, Tjaša Ficko, followed by a discussion on sustainable lifestyle featuring Ladeja Godina Košir, Aljoša Bagola, and Jerneja Jug Jerše. Ram Dušić Hren delighted the audience with a sustainable stand-up to wrap up the event.

Here are a few key takeaways from the event:

  • Sustainable living is a skill, and we must continue to develop and nurture this skill. The European Year of Skills 2023 presents a perfect opportunity to do so.
  • A significant step towards motivation is to shift our communication approach, replacing 'stress' with opportunities for gratitude. For instance, instead of saying, "Don't forget to bring your own bags," we can reframe it as, "Thank you for bringing your own bag."
  • The economy can grow differently by promoting the 'repair sector'.  This approach extends the lifespan of products and creates new job opportunities.
  • To reduce our footprint, we need to increase our heart print.
